Christopher Roberts
Helping FMCG companies navigate the complexities of international trade while achieving sales and revenue growth. A former lawyer and applied economist who combines sharp commercial instincts with encyclopedic knowledge of Asian markets.
Chris helps brands streamline operations, analyze prospective markets, and develop strategic business alliances. He's particularly skilled at analyzing microenvironment factors—competitors, customers, distribution channels, suppliers—and implementing solutions to the legal, compliance, and distribution challenges FMCG companies face when going international.
His track record speaks for itself: at Constellation Brands, he grew Ballast Point to become the #2 selling beer brand in their portfolio within months of adoption. At Heart of Darkness Brewery, he increased international and domestic sales every year, created an OEM business that now accounts for 50%+ of brewery volume, and secured chain retail placements across Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Finland.
Chris holds a JD from Florida State University College of Law and an MS in Applied Economics from Florida State. He's lived and worked in Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong, and now calls Thailand home. When strategy needs to become execution, Chris makes it happen.
